11th Sep 2022 - Fishing Report w/e 11th September
LAKE CLOSURE - Long Crag lake will be closed for a charity competition on Sunday 18th September. Coe Crag lake will remain open as usual, and Long Crag will reopen after 1:30pm. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
As we move into the middle of September, the weather conditions become more favourable for the fishing. Towards the end of the week, we have really seen a drastic improvement in the catches, with anglers recording some impressive catch returns on small Nymphs and Lures. Red Holographic Diawl Bach's fisher in the shallows have taken some good numbers for fish. The Hoy and Hope club visited this weekend, with Willie Emery taking first place and heaviest fish, Josh Piper taking second place, and Cecil Douglas taking third.
