Winter returned this week and anglers who braved the cold and snow have sometimes had to work hard for their fish, fish have still been fairly high in the water despite the bitter northerlies and Top Hats have been working well accounting for some good bags and a cracking 10lb + rainbow for Tony Irving.

The Hoy and Hope fishing club visited this weekend with plenty fish caught the winner with a bag weight of 10lb 14oz was John Metcalf. 2^nd Gary Surtees- Bag weight 8lb 11oz and third Willy Emery with a bag weight of 7lb 14oz. well done to all who attended.

· Steven Mole returned 6 on Coe Crag using a Green Fluffcat.

· Michael Hall returned 10 on Long Crag using Diawl Bach’s and lures.

· Dean Hedley returned 7 to Long Crag using Dries.

· Josh Piper released 14 over both lakes using Top Hats and Apps.

· Rob Hall had 2 visits this week returning 32 fish over both lakes using lures and Bloodworms.

· Ken Glenton returned 20to Long Crag using Buzzers and Diawl Bach’s.

· Davie Parker retuned 20 to Long Crag using various flies including Dries.

· Howard Croston returned 20 to Long Crag using his new Bung and Dries and Lures.

· John Williams returned 5 to Coe Crag using Buzzers.
