Festive opening hours: We will be open at usual until 4pm with the exception of the following dates.
We are closed on 24th, 25th, 26th December and 31st December and 1st January.

The typical December weather at the beginning part of the week may have deterred a few anglers, however following an improvement in the weather mid-week, angler have enjoyed some good sport. Anglers have also been commenting on the quality of the fish they have been catching, which is always great to hear. Fish weighing up into double figures have been recorded this week, as well as a mixture of Rainbows and Browns in the 6-9lb region.
- Josh Piper returned 40 fish over two visits this week, using Apps Bloodworms and Nymphs
- Ken Glenton landed 16 fish from Long Crag using Eggs
- Jed Armstrong landed 35 fish over two visits this week, some of which were from the Boat. Fish mainly taken on Lures
- Jimmy Drew landed 13 fish from Coe Crag using Lures
- John Seed returned 6 fish to Long Crag from the Boat using Apps Bloodworms
- Tony Barclay landed 10 fish while Float Tubing on Long Crag
- Rob Brown landed 10 fish over two visits this week using various Lures
- Davy Jordan landed 6 fish from Long Crag
- Willie Crombie used Black Lures to return 9 fish to Coe Crag, including a 10lb Brown and a 5lb Tiger
- D. Jackson landed 8 fish from Coe Crag using Black Zonkers, including a 6lb Brown
- Matthew Lowery used Diawl Bach's, FAB's and Apps Bloodworms to return 13 fish to Long Crag
- Brian Scrowther landed 19 fish from Long Crag over two visits using Wicked White Buzzers and Crunchers, best fish was a 15lb Rainbow
- Bob Stewart landed 7 fish from Coe Crag using Yellow Dancers, his best fish being a 7lb Rainbow
- John Pringle used Kate McLaren's to return 8 fish between both lakes
- Brian Burdis landed 14 fish from Coe Crag using Eggs, Pink Bloodworms and Cats whiskers, best fish was a 7lb 9oz Rainbow
- Mick Brown landed 19 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers, best fish was a 12lb Rainbow
- Ray Wood used Cormorants to return 9 fish to Long Crag, his best fish being estimated at 7lb
- Michael Hall released 12 fish over two short visits this week
- Neil Foster landed 12 fish from Long Crag using Eggs and Apps Bloodworms
- M. Proudfoot landed 19 fish from Long Crag using Lures
- Trevor Wadds landed 16 fish from Long Crag using Diawl Bach's
- Steve Noble landed 8 fish from Coe Crag using Lures
