17th Oct 2021 - Fishing Report w/e 17th October 2021
It's been decent fishing conditions this week with cool settled weather, and the catch returns show this. Great to see some of the bigger Browns on the move again, as well as the big Rainbows. Best fish landed this week was by Colin Stoddart, who landed a Rainbow at 17lb+.
We've still been seeing some good amounts of surface action, fish feeding heavily on sedges at the weekend.
The fish continue to feed on the large numbers of sticklebacks in both of the lakes, so small fry imitations have also been working well.
