18th Sep 2022 - Fishing Report w/e 18th September 2022
Conditions continue to become more favourable for the fishing as we move further into September. Daddies, CDC's and Diawl Bach's have taken some good numbers of fish; however lures are also starting to become more prolific as the water temperature cools.
We held our annual charity competition in aid of Breast Cancer on Sunday, it was great to see so many anglers turn out to help raise some money for a cause that has affected most families. To date we have raised over £1550, and there is still a couple of auctions to run, that will be active on our FB page; so please keep an eye out for those.
Congratulationsto Dave Cookson who took first place, Dick Taylor who came second and Jack Swinhoe who took third place during the friendly competition.
A big thank you must go to all of our anglers who have supported us with donations and raffle prizes, it wouldn't be possible without your help. Also, a big thanks to Fulling Mill and The Hardy Store for donating some superb prizes.
