Over the weekend; anglers experienced some exceptional hatches of Lake Olives, this provided some great dry fly sport on CDC's and Parachute type flies. Great to see the big fish still being caught, just to mention a few, Stu Ward returned a rainbow well into double figures, Paul Mallaburn landed a rainbow at 8lb 4oz and D. Dodds returned a rainbow estimated at 10lb. Dries and Buzzers in the colours of Black and Olive have proved to be very successful, black especially at the beginning part of the week.
Anglers who ventured out in the boat and float tubes have had some great success targeting those fish which are just a little too far to reach from the bank.
