This weekend we held the Junior and Youth Troutmasters Finals, the two day event seen young anglers and their parents travelling from as far south as Cardiff and Devon and as far north as Aberdeen. The weather conditions over the weekend were unfortunately against us, especially after the heatwave that hit at the middle of the week, however it was great to see pure determination from all competitors as they hoped to be crowned either Junior or Youth 2022 Troutmasters Champion.

A thank you must go to the competitors, parents/grandparents and the stewards for making this weekend possible. A big thank you goes to Sam from Troutmasters for organising the whole event, and to Ian for his photography over the weekend. Overall, it has been a superb weekend as always, great to see both new and familiar faces to the competition. We'll hopefully see you all again next year!
