A mixed week weatherwise hasn't put the fishing off, Dries, Buzzers and Nymphs have been the most productive flies again this week. Anglers have been landing some excellent fully finned fish between the 5-8lb mark this week, which have been putting up[ some excellent battles before coming to the net.
Special mention to Junior angler, Joe Camsell landed 6 fish between both lakes using Hawthorns and Top Hat Buzzers, including a nice fish at 6lb which he has entered into the Troutmasters Competition.
- Matthew Lowery landed 13 fish from Long Crag using FAB's, Buzzers and Hoppers
- Stu Ward landed 12 fish from Long Crag using Shammy's
- Rob Hall safely returned 20 fish to Long Crag using Yellow Dancers
- Ian Santos used Yellow Dancers and Bloodworms to return 20 fish to Long Crag over two visits
- David Pringle netted 8 fish between both lakes using Dries and Buzzers
- Henry Pringle landed 10 fish from Coe Crag also using Buzzers and Dries
- Lewis Mason landed 11 fish between both lakes using Buzzers and Dries
- Ken Glenton landed 20 fish from Long Crag using Dries and Buzzers
- Nigel Hudson safely released 13 fish between both lakes using CDC Hares Ears
- Roger Wilson netted 17 fish over two visits using Top Hats and Squirmys
- Steven Mole landed 14 fish from Long Crag using Green Diawl Bach's
- Spike Millican using Shimmys and Dries to return 9 fish to Long Crag
- Mick Brown landed 20 fish between both lakes using Dries and Buzzers
- Peter Kerr landed 8 fish from Long Crag using Dries and Emergers
- Matty Devine landed 16 fish from Long Crag using Bloodworms, Diawl Bach's and Assassins
- K. Foster netted 18 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers and FAB's
- M. Proudfoot landed 11 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers
- Lee Telford landed 9 fish between both lakes
- Carl Swinbank landed 9 fish from Long Crag while fishing from the boat
- Grant Hughes landed 9 fish between both lakes using PTN's, Buzzers and CDC's
- Barry Nicholson landed 17 fish between both lakes suing Dries
- Billy Bell used Buzzers to return 16 fish to Long Crag
- Peter Temple landed 9 fish between both lakes
