2nd Oct 2022 - Fishing Report w/e 2nd October 2022
Anglers have experienced some great sport this week, with Black Beetles, Diawl Bach's and Buzzers taking the better bag numbers. The majority of the fish are still being caught in the top few feet of water, which is a welcome surprise considering some of the weather this week. Some of our resident double figured fish have started to make an appearance this week, but anglers also reporting a lot of fish in the 5-8lb region, which have certainly been putting of a fair fight before coming to the net.
This week we welcomed some of the 'Beavers' from the local Whittingham Scouts group, it was excellent to see 19 juniors all under 10yrs of age be so enthusiastic to catch a fish, which they all successfully completed!
