The weather conditions this week have been slightly more favourable for both the fish and the anglers, mainly due to the cooler North/ North East winds and more overcast conditions we have experienced. Fish have mainly been caught in the top few feet of water, with the 'washing line' method proving very successful. Diawl Bach's and Black Buzzers have taken the fair share of fish below the surface and Small CDC's, Shipmans and Daddies have been post productive above the surface. We've seen some good hatches of sedges during the late evening sessions.
On Saturday we held our 'Early bird session' where anglers could start fishing at 4am to try and tempt the feeding fish before the sun appeared above the hills. We saw a great turnout of 25 anglers, with the majority of them catching fish, making it all worthwhile.
