4th Apr 2021 - Fishing Report w/e 4th April 2021
PLEASE NOTE- The fishery is fully booked on Saturday 10th April for a club booking, and therefore the fishery is closed all day. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our anglers. We will be open as usual on Sunday.
Some excellent catch returns have been recorded this week, despite the very changeable weather. The beginning part of the week brought some warm weather, and the majority of the fish were being taken on Dries and Buzzers in the top few feet of water. However, when the cooler weather and North winds came for the weekend, the fish were being taken slightly deeper in the water column. Some cracking fish have been caught this week, Ken Brewster landed a 12lb Rainbow, Ian Santos netted a 10lb Rainbow, Les Royal landed a 11lb Rainbow, finally Gareth Beargrie landed a 9lb Tiger.

- Les Dinsmore returned 15 fish to Coe Crag using Cats Whiskers, including a rainbow at 10lb
- Bill McCarroll returned 6 fish to Long Crag using Buzzers & CDC's
- John Clarke safely released 8 fish to Long Crag using Dawsons Olives and Eggs
- Anth Meadows safely returned 8 fish over both lakes
- Michael Hall netted 15 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers and Black Lures
- Guy Nicholson returned 17 fish to Long Crag using Buzzers and Blobs
- Matty Devine released his limit of 20 fish using Damsels and Nymphs, including a 6lb Brwon and 8lb+ Rainbow
- Ian Santos landed 11 fish from Long Crag also using Damsels and Nymph's, including a 10lb Rainbow
- Stu Ward returned 7 fish to Long Crag using Buzzers, Shammys and Black Lures
- Josh Piper used Dries to return 8 fish to Long Crag
- Howard Croston landed 16 fish over both lakes using Dries and Nymphs
- Bob Martin landed 8 fish from Coe Crag using Buzzers and Yellow Dancers
- Ken Glenton landed 12 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers and Dries
- Greg Lewins netted 12 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers, Diawl Bach's and FAB's
- Rob Hall released 20 fish to Long Crag using Dancers
- Paul Snaith kept 4 fish and returned 16 fish to Long Crag using Shammy's
- Mick Masterman landed 13 fish over two visits using Shammys and Buzzers
- Paul Embelton landed 16 fish from Long Crag
