7th Jun 2021 - Fishing Report w/e 6th june 2021
Bright and Hot weather throughout the majority of this week, has forced anglers to fish deeper in the water column to find the fish. However, on the more overcast days, small dries and Buzzers have fished very well. The 'Washing line' method has proved successful again this week, and anglers reporting some "savage takes!" on Buzzers.
Great to see juniors enjoying sport on both the Fly and Bait Lake again this week.
- Ian Santos retuned 32 fish over two visits this week using Dancers and Bloodworms
- Paul Marshall landed 9 fish from Coe Crag using Shipmans and CDC's
- Nathan Bryant landed 36 fish over two visits using Buzzers and Dries
- Trevor Bryant landed 12 fish from Long Crag also using Dries and Buzzers
- A. Gregory returned 6 fish to Long Crag using Cats Whiskers
- D. Cromarty safely released 8 fish to Long Crag using a Mixture of flies
- N. Duff returned 7 fish between both lakes
- Matthew Lowery landed 6 fish from Long Crag using Diawl's and Buzzers
- Paul Hird returned 9 fish between both lakes using FAB's and Buzzers
- Tony Rowley landed 8 fish from Long Crag also using Buzzers and Blobs
- Ken Glenton safely returned 14 fish to Long Crag using Various Dries
- Ray Percy netted 6 fish from Long Crag using Dries
- M. Watson returned 6 to Long Crag using Dries.
- Trevor Wadds returned 6 To Coe Crag using Diawl Bachs and Squirmys.
- Mark Wadds returned 7 to the same lake using various flies.
