Rules and Regulations
Please find a list of our rules and regulations below, Purchase of a ticket signifies acceptance of these rules.
- All anglers must have a current rod licence to fish these waters.
- All anglers to sign in individually before fishing begins.
- Please only use landing nets provided.
- Catch and Keep – all fish caught first must be kept but all Brown, Tiger and Spartic trout must be returned to the water.
- Catch and Release - keep all trout in the water, unhook and release carefully.
- Barbless or de-barbed hooks only no larger than size 10- three flies maximum.
- Tippet strength - 6lb B.S. minimum.
- No large lures, spinners, propellers or flickers.
- The use of boobies, powerbait, baited flies or ground baiting is not permitted.
- No wading.
- Please do not encroach on other anglers space. Move around the lake so 'hot spots' are not monopolised.
- It is compulsory to wear a life jacket when fishing from a boat- no trolling when boat fishing.
- Please keep noise and disruption to a minimum so anglers can enjoy their fishing- no radios, BBQ or fires.
- Bag limits are not transferable.
- All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- No dogs allowed on site.
- Use litter bins provided for all rubbish- please do not discard waste cast or cigarette butts.
- Trout must be weighed and recorded before anglers return to their cars.
Conditions
- The Management reserves the right to conduct tackle, bag and vehicle inspections - no reason required.
- No liability is accepted for any injury or accident to persons using the fishery or for loss or damage to their property.
- The Management reserve the right to refuse or terminate admission - no reason necessary.
