The Fishery
In this great part of Northumberland the Blythe Family strive to offer a real quality fly fishing experience for anglers of all abilities.
All the lakes are spring fed, Long Crag and Coe Crag are fly only.
We now offer a small bait lake for both juniors and adults to enjoy. Designed with full disabled access and parking, all tackle, equipment and bait is available for hire. A bespoke fishing shelter is positioned lakeside, ideal for having lunch, coffee and if required children’s parties. Please contact the fishery for more information.
The fishery offers disabled facilities as well as car access to the waters edge for disabled anglers.
We can also accommodate a small number of float tubes on our larger lake; Long Crag. Please contact the fishery, as booking is essential.
The fishing Lodge commands a striking panoramic view of the Lakes and Thrunton Woods with the added warmth of a wood burning stove. Light refreshments are available - sausage, egg and bacon sandwiches on offer. Tea and Coffee.
Easily accessible from the A697 just north of Longframlington.
We're open daily from 8.30am - 7 days a week all year round. We are a barbless fly fishery.
A current Environment Agency Rod Licence is required to fish these waters.
