At Thrunton we are very keen to encourage Juniors to come along and enjoy the sport of Fly Fishing. We have an established Junior group who enjoy meeting up and fishing together and in addition to this we offer Fly Fishing starter sessions during school holidays for those youngsters who fancy coming along to have a go!

The sessions are generally 2 hours long and are suitable for both boys and girls from 7yrs of age. All equipment, instruction and the option to keep their 1st fish is included. The sessions will be led by Angling Trust UKCC Level 2 coach's Steve McCann or Joe Dewhirst. The sessions are suitable for starters to improvers, so no previous experience is needed.

Keep an eye on the website as we also hold regular Junior Fly Tying sessions as well as single and pairs competitions throughout the year.

Places will be limited to make sure the class sizes are kept small - booking is essential.
