The weather has been pretty unsettled over the festive period but anglers have reported having some great sport, We had a visit from the Ashington king fisher’s just after Christmas with all the guys enjoying their day despite the weather.

· Josh Piper has had some great sport netting a total of 46 fish over 4 separate visits over both lakes using a variety of flies. Including one at 10lb and one at 12lb

· Ken Glenton netted a total of 31 fish over 2 separate visits using various flies. One at 12lb.

· Kevin Dinning returned 11 over both lakes using blood worms.

· M Crosbie returned 14 to Long Crag using Lures and Apps.

· A Mulgrew released 20 over 2 visits using Black Lures.

· Mick Jervis released 9 over both lakes using size 16 and 14 hares ears and PTNs.

· Alan Kavanagh. Released 8 using Tinnies on Long Crag

· Dickie Bean Returned 11 to Long Crag using Egg flies.

· John Jervis returned 10 to Long Crag using Hares Ears and PTN’s

· Peter Reagan returned 7 to Coe Crag ( mostly Browns) using an olive Lure.

· Ray Oconnor returned 8 to Coe Crag using an ecstasy Worm under an Indicator. Including one at 11lb.

· P Embleton returned 6 to Long Crag using various flies.

· P Mularkey returned 6 to Long Crag using Damsels and Blood Worms.

· Mick Kelley returned 16 to Long Crag using Diawl Bach and Blood worms.

· Steve Kelley returned 12 over Both Lakes using Diawl Bach’s.

· Callum Tait returned 16 using Egg Flies.

· J Allison released 9 using White Lures.

· Jim Birtle returned 7 using various flies

· Kevin Dinning returned 10 to both lakes using Crunchers.

· Ronnie Glass Returned 5 using Apps Bloodworms and Black Poodles.

· Steve noble returned 7 to Long Crag Using Top Hats.

· Bob Bell returned 8 to Long Crag using Hares Ear Top Hats.

· Jed Armstrong had a good day in the boat returning 18 using various lures.

· Mick French returned 6 to Long Crag using Eggs.

· E Looney released 8 on Coe Crag using a Beamish Killer fished Deep.

· R Fowkes returned 14 over Both Lakes Using a Black Lure.

· J Shuttleworth also used a Black Lure to release 10 over Both Lakes.

· Mike Blackwood had 4 from Long Crag and 1 From Coe Crag using Cormorants.

· Dave Jordan had 10 from Long Crag using Various flies.

· Stew Younger released 3 off Long Crag and 2 off Coe Crag using Buzzers.

· Carl Nixon returned 13 to Long Crag using Various flies.

· Lee Cartmail returned 8 to Long Crag using Nymphs.

· Ian Fairgreive returned 5 to Coe Crag including a nice Rainbow at 10.8lb using Cormorants.

· Mark Tyndle. Released6 on Coe Crag using Apps Bloodworms and Diawl Bachs.

· Davy Waterson returned 6 to Coe Crag using Red Apps.a
